Happy Thursday!
I would like to start off by saying that yesterday, I had one of the best evenings that I have had in a while and I would like to thank my husband for that. Our night consisted of Sushi, and awkward waiter, Cat art, stolen kisses, thumbs up, one rain shower, a movie, ice cream and cuddles. A perfect date if you ask me. Thank you, husband, for reminding me about why we are made for each other.
Sorry about the mushiness, but I just had to share with all of you how great evenings can be and last night was impeccable. Moving on, I am going to switch gears on you (some of you are probably fist pumping right now and I don’t blame you). I have seen this list floating around and was amazed about how many things on this list are also on my own 30/30 list. This is a list of 99 things that should be done in a lifetime, and cross them off as you go. I have notices that a lot of these also mean that you have to have money, so I am okay with the ones that aren’t crossed off, and who know, maybe someday I will be able to cross more off of the list. Again, this is not my list and I don’t plan on doing all of these, but it is just interesting to see what I have done on the list of 99.

Happy Wednesday, Friends!
So many things going on and I just don’t know where to start. Before I get into update mode, I would like to say thank you to everyone because you all are awesome. I know that I have been hit and miss on here, and it still might be that way until things are settled down, but the love from all of you has been felt. The love and support I have received from everyone is overwhelming and a big (BIG) thank you is in order. I hope I can make it up to each and every one of you and I plan on doing so. My life has been up and down lately, but when I sit back and really think about my life, I shouldn’t look at the downs too much. Because of my family, friends and strangers, I have it pretty good. Right now I am sitting, drinking coffee and eating cookies (Yes, I know it is only 8:00 in the morning) and I am at a job I love. I have air in my lungs and love in my heart. Life is taken for granted and I again vow to not take it like that. Life is grand. Let us all live it to the fullest and reach for those dreams that seem out of reach. Smile because you want to and tell the people you are close to that you love them.
Now, as promised, it is update time. Let’s start with survival. Many of you probably think that I was picked up in the aforementioned van of doom for the half marathon. Well friends that did not happen. I successfully finished the Half-Marathon with time to spare.  Not only that, I finished with my best minute per mile. All in all, it was a success! A beautiful day to cross one more thing off my 30/30 list. It really was a great day. The morning was gorgeous; the feeling in the air was excitement and determination. Let’s get one thing straight though, I don’t consider myself a runner, let alone a good one, so for those of you who have never ran in a race, I seriously think you should think about it. It is so worth it for a couple of reasons: 1. The feeling of crossing the finish line is unlike any other. I think I lived off of that high for a week. 2. You get a free meal while running. This is no joke folks! There was everything from various types of fruit to pizza to bacon to beer, ice, lemonade, and water. It is one of the most expensive buffets that I have ever been to and it was 13.1 miles in the making, but definitely worth it. The hills turned into mountains and miles seemed to take hours, but I finished with a smile on my face and energy to spare. The best part was my family standing right at the finish line and seeing them right before I crossed it was the best feeling. Their smiles and support helped me cross that finish line with a kick in my step. As mentioned, I love my life. Will I do another one? Who knows, but I feel great that I said I could do it and I did. That is pure contentment. Goal= Conquered
Next are the random updates that aren’t necessary but am going to share them with you just because. My job is still going great and I am learning new things each and every day. This keeps me on my toes and makes the days go by fast. Not a day has gone by that I am not thankful for the place that I work and the passion I have towards it.
Home is a word that I am becoming unfamiliar with. I am appreciative for the places that have welcomed me in, but we still don’t have a home to call our own. I feel like a Nomad living out of a backpack and doing the sleeping shuffle. I never know where I am going to be each day. What was exciting at first is now becoming very tiresome. The husband and I hardly see each other and with the moving day becoming closer and closer, it is getting worrisome. We have to be out of our house by July 27th but don’t close on our new house until August 31st. This puts us in a bind because we don’t have anywhere to store our furniture. This equals out to be one epic garage sale. We are going to try and sell almost everything and hope not to regret it. We are shooting to do this next weekend. We haven’t started on anything. Enter in liquor and packing tape. J Hopefully the epic garage sale will cure my worry for the moving day. We keep telling ourselves that it will all be worth it in the end, and I truly think that it is going to be, it is just hard to see at this point in time. I think that the first thing I am going to do at out new place is have a bonfire and burn our suitcases and my air mattress. All of you are welcome!
I guess that concludes all my updates but one. Last, but certainly not least, today I am celebrating three years of married harmony to Cor. It is crazy that we have been married for three years already. I truly believe that we have only lived with each other for half of that because of the curve balls life threw us but it has made us that much stronger as a couple. Multiple jobs, buying our first house, selling our first house, moving, moving, and more moving. Anniversaries, weddings, birthdays. Ups and Downs. Love and Laughter. Through everything, I am so glad we stuck by each other and are still deeply in love. It is such a  great feeling to know that we are going to be a couple that will still be dancing together Fifty plus years from now. We are best friends, lovers, in love, married, future parents (no this is not an admission), business partners, each other’s comfort, support, and dancing partner. Best of all, we are together. I love you Cor. Happy Anniversary!
Well, friends. That is all or now. I hope you are all preparing for the great Fourth of July Week. I, for one, am on vacation and it can’t be soon enough. I have more book reviews coming for you and, as always, more love to share.
Cheers Friends. Cheers to today and many more great days to come! Stay Cool!
